  • Absence Reporting using SafeArrival

    Options

    1. Mobile: Download the SchoolMessenger app from the Google Play Store OR Apple App Store.
    2. Web: Open your browser and go to SchoolMessenger

    • SafeArrival is designed to enhance our existing absence-checking procedures by making it easier for you to report your child’s absence (e.g. illness, vacation, appointment, etc), reducing the time it takes school staff to verify student attendance, and making it more efficient for staff to respond to unreported student absences.

Alternatively, you can also call the school and leave a message.

    Resources

More information about the SafeArrival App and set-up instructions, see the guide below, which explains how to sign up, log in, report and modify an absence and how to manage PIN settings.

  • School Supplies for September 2026

    • Kindergarten to Grade 3
      • Starting this year, families for all primary grades will pay for school supplies on School Cash Online and the school will do the purchasing.
        • in previous years only Kindergarten did it this way although all primary classes 'pooled' supplies in the room to help kids stay organized
        • we hope that by handling the purchasing we can be more efficient and control rising costs
    • Grade 4 to Grade 7
      • Intermediate students will continue to bring their own school supplies as before.  Lists were emailed out to families in the spring.  Please email the office if you need a copy.
      • You can also access the list at School Start  - if you use this company you can arrange for the supplies to be delivered to your child at school.
      • You can also shop at the store of your choosing and have your child bring the supplies to school.

The IB PYP is for students aged 3-12 and prepares students to become active, caring, lifelong learners who demonstrate respect for themselves and others and have the capacity to participate in the world around them.
